How to choose the most optimal container size?
Spacewise manufactures refrigerated containers in three sets of dimensions in order to meet the expectations of various clients. All three models have exactly the same height and width, with length and total volume being the main differences.


Since most people have difficulty conceptualising the actual size of our containers, we will explain the advantages of each of them below:

How large are 10ft refrigerated containers?
Our smallest units are commonly used whenever there is limited space to operate in, as they are compact, portable, and fit easily around pre-existing structures. Despite the limited length, containers of this type can accommodate a decent amount of goods if they are loaded properly. Up to 4 standard palettes can be placed on the floor at one time, with the possibility to add several layers.

How much cargo can 20ft refrigerated containers hold?
20ft containers can hold twice as much cargo as our smaller units, but they still retain most of the flexibility and are still easy to transport with the right equipment. Those units are 8ft wide and measure 8ft 6’’ from the ground, while nearly 90% of external length is effectively available for storage. This model can comfortably hold 9-10 palettes in each layer. Our 20ft containers are still lightweight and portable, which explains why they are among the most popular products in our offering.

What can 40ft refrigerated containers be used for?
Whenever temperature-sensitive bulky goods need to be stored or transported, 40ft refrigerated containers are a good solution. The floor surface can accommodate more than 20 standard Euro palettes, while the height is sufficient to hold a large number of products. 40ft units are often used by food manufacturers, supermarket chains, and other organisations that frequently handle large volumes of perishable stock.
